![]() HDD (although having had improvements over the years in data transfer rates and larger storage space in TB), is still relatively slower, because the time that it takes for the spindle in a Hard Disk Drive to move over one Disk Platter to read the Data that is on it, is about 5x slower than the faster SSD.
